We are very excited to announce that the Shiden Network has integrated with DIA’s open-source oracle infrastructure to enable easy development with accurate and transparent data.

Shiden Network is a multi-chain decentralized application layer on the Kusama Network. Kusama is an early and unrefined release of Polkadot and serves as a proving ground, allowing teams and developers to build and deploy parachains. Parachains are chains running in parallel to the Kusama Relay (core) Chain that are designed with optimized functionality for specific use cases.
The Kusama Relay Chain does not support smart contract functionality by design and hence needs a smart contract layer. This is where Shiden Network comes in, enabling Ethereum compatibility to the Kusama Parachains. The Shiden parachain supports Ethereum Virtual Machine, WebAssembly, and Layer2 solutions from day one. The platform supports various applications like DeFi, NFTs and more.
DIA’s trusted oracles are now live in the Shiden Network mainnet, feeding the platform with accurate and transparent market price data. This integration enables developers building dApps in the Kusama Ecosystem to access crowd-sourced and validated price feeds natively in the EVM compatible parachain.

Michael Weber , DIA Association President adds:
“We are very excited to make our oracle infrastructure accessible to one of the first parachains connected to Kusama. The Kusama ecosystem is currently driving innovation, enabling new use cases through the parachains and we want to support this endeavour with access to reliable data in these new scaling solutions.”
Maarten Henskens , VP of Growth of Astar comments:
“We’re very pleased to cooperate with the DIA team and work together to source, supply, and share trustable data to the Astar ecosystem, which will help the developer community to run and launch their dApps in a seamless way. At Astar ecosystem, we’re offering our developers the best dApp platform inside the Polkadot ecosystem with multi-chain and layer2 solutions.”
